Our next home improvement puzzle: the back door. The one we inherited from the previous owners was installed by the Three Stooges. I can tell by their work. No insulation. Hung crooked. Ugly trim. All winter, we felt the wind coming through.

Paving New I-85 North Lanes in Rowan County

Crews have paved more than one mile of the new I-85 North lanes in Rowan County, as part of phase one of the I-85 Corridor Improvement Project.
Phase one will widen 3.3 miles of the interstate from four lanes to eight lanes from north of Long Ferry Road (Exit 81) in Rowan County to just north of the N.C. 150 interchange in Davidson County.
